(If seeking debate for a new idea from BID or levy payer, or community) Weymouth BID is looking for volunteers to become ambassadors, similar to the London 2012 ambassadors who played a vital role here in Weymouth. Called "Weymouth Weyfarers", they will be a very visible support for local business, providing information, support and a welcoming environment to visitors.
This volunteer programme is based on the successful 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games Volunteer Ambassador programme, when over 560 local people and others provided a fantastic volunteer workforce.
